How to Feel Awesome About Buying a Car
So you’ve saved and saved and carefully considered a purchase. The day finally comes and you make the buy.
Alas, that dreaded pit of fear in your gut.
The questioning inner voice probing you with questions. Did you make the right decision?!
If the purchase in question is a hamburger, the repercussions not too costly.
Maybe it was an expensive watch, which hits the regret button in your gut harder.
But what if you made the wrong decision buying the wrong car????
Vehicles. The necessary expense used as a means of transportation.
But most of the time your car, truck, or SUV is much more than that isn’t it?
We spend a good deal of time in our vehicles. We get attached. It needs to be the right one.
And, since buying a car, truck, or SUV is the second largest expense we will ever make.
So, when you walk into the dealership, you may feel guarded. This is your purchase, this is your family, this is your transportation, this is your hard-earned money.
The big question you may be thinking now might be: Well, how do I know I won’t make the wrong decision.
Use your Sales Professional as a sounding board.
Make sure you feel the sales professional acts as your advocate and has YOUR best interests in mind.
They will ask you many questions about your life, your needs and wants.
This right here makes the difference between buyer’s remorse and having sound confidence in the decision you make. Just taking the time up front and providing some information will make your shopping to buying experience smooth, timely, and lead to making the best decision for you and/or your family.
Your Sales Professional might ask:
What is most important to you?
You might think: Um, show me the car I asked for.
But, taking the time to answer that question just aids the sales professional to help you choose the right car for you and your needs.
You deserve to leave happy with your ultimate decision and continue being happy as an owner.
Believe it or not, the properly motivated sales professional will want you to be so happy with the vehicle you leave with. Why?
Well, if you are not happy, you will not entrust that sales professional for your next vehicle purchase,
or your spouses’, or your children, and all of your friends.
When you leave happy, there is nothing more gratifying to the Sales Professional.
Because they care just as much as you care about you being happy with your decision.
In closing….if you do not feel that your sales person cares just as much as you do about making the right decision, then either ask for another or leave.
Does this make you feel any amount better about visiting a dealership? Or would you still rather a root canal?
